De Acrolepidae zijn een familie van uitgestorven straalvinnige beenvissen. Geslachten verwezen naar Acrolepidae, leefden van het Vroeg-Carboon tot het Vroeg-Trias. Het waren nektonische carnivoren met een spoelvormig lichaam.
De Acrolepidae kunnen nauw verwant zijn aan de vroege Ptycholepididae uit het Mesozoïcum.
