Hermeuptychia intricata is een vlinder uit de familie Nymphalidae. De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort werd voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 2014 door Nick V. Grishin., 2014: A new Hermeuptychia (Lepidoptera, Nymphalidae, Satyrinae) is sympatric and synchronic with H. sosybius in southeast US coastal plains, while another new Hermeuptychia species – not Hermes – inhabits south Texas and northeast Mexico.
